PORTRAIT FEES CONTACT ARTISTMy work takes well over 100 hours or more to complete, and after more than 40 years as a portraitist, I now only accept a limited number of commissions a year. I only work on hand-made Italian paper made by Fabriano, the oldest continuous paper-making mill in Europe, which has been making paper since 1276. They made paper that was used by Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael . The paper comes in an approximate size of 20 X 26 ins., although because it is handmade, it can be slightly larger or smaller from sheet to sheet. It will last over 300 years with proper care. All red rock portraits are drawn in red rock clay mixed with wax. The
